NOTICE

The Small Market Spa/Salon Association (SMSSA) is an association of spa and salon developers, owners, operators, technicians and other professionals dedicated to the success of spas and salons located in medium to small sized markets across the United States.

Having acknowledged that existing spa/salon associations do not provide all the resources necessary for the success of spas and salons located in the medium and small markets of America, SMSSA hereby undertakes to set itself apart as a resource dedicated solely to spas and salons located in medium to small markets.

Established in 2006, the Association is the brainchild of Spa Business Associates, Inc., an association of spa/salon professionals dedicated to providing small business solutions for the spa/salon industry.

Harry Williams of Spa Business Associates, Inc., says, "Having been involved in consulting for spas and salons in medium to small markets for the past seven years, I have come to realize that adequate resources are not available for these smaller businesses."

"While spas and salons located in the larger markets can afford to pay big sums for business plans, consulting, spa design, marketing and operational help, a lot of spas and salons in smaller markets have a budget which requires them to watch every dollar they spend," continues Williams.

"What we need is an association of professionals willing to share their knowledge and experience to provide reasonably priced consulting and services to the owners of spas and salons located in the medium and small markets."

Williams concludes, "If this is not done, many potential spa and salon owners in the medium and small markets will not see their dreams realized. And the people living in these markets will never experience spa."
