How do you measure up?

An experienced spa consultant will conduct an extensive review and evaluation of your existing spa followed up with a written report and telephone interview containing recommendations and a strategic plan for implementing whatever corrective action may be required.




Evaluation Steps

    1.   Owner completes a questionnaire outlining certain basic information and sends it to the consultant along with the following:

  • Latest annual profit and loss statement
  • Profit and loss statements for last six months
  • Copy of spa menu and all marketing materials used in the past year

  • Copy of all personnel, operations and other manuals used by the spa
  • List of all personnel with positions, job descriptions, and resumes
  • Copy of the compensation plan currently in effect

   2.   Consultant conducts one hour, initial, telephone interview with client going over the questionnaire and information listed above.

   3.    Consultant evaluates the spa based on the questionnaire, information listed above and the initial interview with the client.

   4.   Consultant sends preliminary evaluation report with recommendations to client and then conducts second telephone interview at which time the preliminary evaluation report and recommendations are discussed.

   5.   Consultant prepares final evaluation report with recommendations and sends it to the client.

 6.   Consultant conducts final telephone interview with client to discuss final evaluation report and recommendations.

 7.   Consultant provides client with customized copies of the following:

  • Human resources manual
  • Spa marketing manual
  • Personnel manual
  • Client interaction SOP
  • House keeping SOP
  • Treatment standards SOP
  • Spa presentation SOP

 8.    Client continues to send consultant monthly P & L statements for the next six months following the final interview to which consultant shall respond with recommendations by email.
