Universal
Companies' all new 2008 catalog, always the preeminent
resource for the spa industry, has new focus this year:
Green. This year's Spa Resource Book is one of the most
comprehensive resources available to help spas
incorporate sustainability into their facilities. The
catalog will be unveiled at this year's Spa & Resort and
Medical Spa Expo and Conference February 23-25 in Los
Angeles.
This year, in an effort to better serve customers and
improve how we use our planet's resources, Universal
encouraged its suppliers to not only look for ways they
could implement green processes within their
manufacturing facilities, but to actually reformulate or
redesign products to incorporate earth-friendly
materials. The company’s buyers prioritized their
selections for 2008 to focus on products that were
sustainable, recyclable, compostable, and whenever
possible, grown organically.
Once products were chosen and evaluated, those deemed to
be environmentally friendly received a special
designation in the catalog, making them easily
identifiable.
Additionally, Universal's Spa Resource Book is
recyclable and printed on paper produced from
well-managed and responsibly harvested forests, which
meet strict environmental and socioeconomic standards.
The 2008 edition of the Spa Resource Book is Universal’s
largest ever, with approximately 450 pages filled with
more than 5,000 products. It features hundreds of
exciting new items, as well as many favorite products,
and a new retail product offering. Many offerings are
exclusive to Universal Companies, whose mission is to
consistently deliver innovative spa solutions to
maximize the success of our partner-customers.
Universal Companies has a broad range of spa products
and equipment, as well as unparalleled customer service,
education and training programs, marketing and
merchandising tools, and industry experts dedicated to
helping clients succeed. The many products and services
Universal offers reinforces the Spa Resource Book
message, “It’s All Here.”
